Atlantis Society has over 30 years of dignified service.

Our vessel, White Light, is a 67 foot LOA Chris Craft Commander license and certified by the US Coast Guard. White Light can accommodate up to 49 guests. Ceremony prices vary according to how many guests are in attendance. Please call or fill out our booking form to have a representative of Atlantis Society contact you for details.

We provide coffee, sodas, and juices – as well as roses – for all guests, for no additional cost.
White Light offers a full bar for an additional fee.
Upon request, a commemorative certificate which includes the date and location of the final resting place will be mailed to the family.

ATTENDED BURIAL AT SEA SERVICES

Honor your loved one with a peaceful and dignified ceremony at sea

Families choosing to witness the scattering of ashes service will board the vessel at our dock in Newport Beach. We then proceed to your pre-established location.

Once we arrive at the pre-established destination, a service is conducted by The Captain or Chaplain, as requested by the family, followed by a flower toss and our Circle of Tribute.

With over 50 years of combined experience, our crew understands the emotional nature of the ceremony and are there to help make it special.

After the ceremony, the vessel cruises back to the same dock it departed from.

UNATTENDED BURIAL AT SEA SERVICES

Affordable interment ceremonies for Newport Beach and the Southern California Coast.

There are occasions when the loved one requests a scattering of ashes, but family members are not able to attend. When this happens, Atlantis Society can help with an unattended burial at sea ceremony.

We are licensed in the State of California to perform this service and will work with your crematory for a beautiful, dignified ceremony for your departed family member.

Our unattended burial at sea ceremonies are done off the coast of Newport Beach/Corona Del Mar and are performed by our experienced crew. Our unattended services are performed with as much dignity and respect as an attended ceremony.

We also offer live streams of all our burial services.

Residents of other states can make arrangements for transport through the United States Postal Service. Call us if you need help with this process.

Hello Wes,

I just wanted to follow up with you to let you know that our excursion on the White Light to scatter my father ashes was a wonderful experience for our family. Jeff and Chris did a wonderful job taking care of us and seeing to all our needs.
